Once again we hit the ground running on our second day in the big city! Starting with the NBC Tour at 8:30 in the morning. Before going on the tour we stopped by Rockefeller Center where they were taping the Today Show, unfortunately I only took one picture there.
And we were not allowed to take pictures inside the studio Tour so here is one while waiting in line. We got to see the studios where Dr. Oz, Late Night with Jimmy Fallen and Saturday Night Live is taped. And a few other things in the building.
After we did our tour we looked around down in the subway/shopping area below Rockefeller. The we went to the Top of the Rock. Here is a pic of one of the entrances to Rockefeller and here is the elevator ceiling
Here are a couple from the top of the building, which was pretty cool!
Empire state building Times Square Central Park
Then on to the MOMA, deciding we didn’t want to spend all day in museums we picked one or two different exhibits to see and went on our way. Here are a couple photos from MOMA.
I did a paper on Diane Arbus in my Photography class a couple years ago. Very interesting
Does anyone else remember these popsicle makers from Tupperware!!
After the Moma we hopped on the subway and went way up toward the top of Central Park and walked 5th Ave. down. It was a VERY long walk. We tried to go to the Guggenheim but the line was RIDICULOUS!! So here is a pic of the building. hehe
Then we walked down about 30 blocks more to the Met. Which was very awesome. We chose to go into the Egypt exhibit.
for some reason this statue “cracked” me up!
After that we decided to get a pedicab, we were exhausted!
He took us to…
Which was closed. :-(
So we trekked back to our hotel for a rest. And along the way came across this
We both ended up falling asleep pretty early and awoke ready to hit the ground again, To be continued.
Great Pics Girl!! I love a good blog!!
